Previous Wizard Releases

Release 3.0 provided enhanced support for Market Research and developing information that can be directly included in solicitations (Documentation and Vendor Information).

Release 2.2 (September 2006) included: a robust search capability to find accessibility information that vendors have provided an enhanced worksheet to record the results of market research ability for users to save Wizard sessions before they are completed, allowing users to resume where they stopped at their convenience

Release 2.1 (May 2006) focused on continuous improvement updates (based on user and Focus Group feedback) and bug fixes (functional and spelling errors)

Release 2.0 (November 2005) provided full support to federal buyers and program managers for any type of acquisition (micropurchases, larger value items, and services) for all steps in the acquisition process related to Needs Assessment, refer to the Acquisition Process Model, Section 508 relevance, applicability, using the Data Center to find sources for doing market research, and documentation for any applicable exceptions.

Release 1.0 concentrated on helping federal officials determine Relevance and Applicability for Section 508 as part of the Needs and Requirements acquisition phase. Release 2.0 featured additional support for Market Research (Pre-solicitation commercial availability).

Release 1.2 (September 2006) included: EIT classification re-engineered UNSPSC taxonomy browser interface Supports product and service classification Wizard search interface (API) enhanced Searches within specified taxonomy categories Search ‘filters’ to manage complexity

Release 1.1 (May 2006) concentrated on continuous improvement updates (based on user and Focus Group feedback) and bug fixes (functional and spelling errors). Vendor provided accessibility information for COTS EIT products and EIT-related services. Mechanism for feedback on registered information activity. Enhanced Data Center administration user interface.

Release 1.0 (November 2005) represented the migration of information from the original (and now defunct) BuyAccessible data base. Also included a new data type (product-level accessibility) to support micropurchases.
