- Anyone who determines program requirements for EIT product or service deliverables should use the Section 508 Wizard. If you are a Program Requiring official or Federal Government official who specifies program, EIT, and Section 508 requirements, the Wizard should be utilized by you.
- If your agency plans to buy from a purchase schedule or use an existing contract vehichle, all EIT products or services acquired must comply with Section 508 requirements. The applicability of Section 508 must be determined regardless of the contract vehicle or RFP mechanism.
- If your company or agency is developing or integrating a customer EIT solution instead of buying a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product, responsibility for determing Section 508 requirements still applies.
